EVENT HORIZION - Rough Prototype of a Multimedia Comic
EVENT HORIZON is a solo project that experimented with the production of digital comics and the interaction between the reader and said comics. This project was created with 4 different programs- Blender, Unity, Clip Studio Pro and Beepbox.
GOALS & SUCCESSES:

-
Several types of media created by myself
-
A 3D model was made to assist with backgrounds and consistency between panels
-
Two short animations
-
Multiple comic pages
-
Two original tracks
-
-
Explored alternative inputs and digital media as a non-static medium
-
Panels that shifted when the reader moused over them to turn to the next page
-
Creating a "search engine" to encourage the reader to type to look for more context
-

Note: I fully acknowledge the shortcomings of this project, namely, the many faults in the coding. However, these were addressed within a reflection essay. This project was made as an experiment with the rise of digital comics, as I see there is a market and interest in alternative comics.
